“If you’re like me and you love it when places think of the little details too, this place will certainly satisfy. That’s right, not only is the decor on point, or even the Caffiened paper that your food is served on, but they’ve gone one step further and even have their name engraved on each mug.”
I have this thing with coffee shops.
But not your usual chain coffee shops. No, I love to find the independent ones. The ones that have a little more about them. The ones with the well thought out decor, cute spaces, and where the baristas take the time out to chat to you.
And yesterday, Harry and I were lucky enough to come across our newest favourite; Caffiened, situated in Harborne, Birmingham.
I’ve been eyeing up this place for what feels like ages now, patiently waiting to see when it would finally be open so I can go inside and explore. And luckily enough, this weekend it had quietly opened its doors so Harry and I could have a little peek inside and get our Saturday off to the best start – with a hot drink and croissants. Sounds ideal, right?
So, first impressions of Caffiened?
This place is super cute. In fact, this space used to be a small, again independent, restaurant which Harry and I previously went to, and it’s incredible to compare how the space has been completely transformed and now looks so much bigger!
I’m a big fan of great decor, and this place was right up my street. Think scandinavian-chic, hygge lighting and an element of botanical vibes thrown in for good measure. Yes, this is the perfect setting to go to if you fancy having a little catch up on your work, or want to get out of the house for an hour or two for a change of setting.
If you’re like me and you love it when places think of the little details too, this place will certainly satisfy. That’s right, not only is the decor on point, or even the Caffiened paper that your food is served on, but they’ve gone one step further and even have their name engraved on each mug. Oh, yes. Well done Caffiened, well done.
Plus, with even more plans to come, you can be sure this place will be ever-changing. Which is exactly what I love.
So if you’re anything like me and also have a slight obsession with coffee shops (I mean, who doesn’t?!), and you’re in the area anytime soon, this is definitely one to add to your must-visit list. And, they’re fully launching it with the grand opening on Monday. So, you know where to be!
